Laura Essayie
designs and sculpts a jewelry collection, the first piece of which was created in 2015.

At the heart of her work is silver wire, which she obtains by casting herself damaged jewelry and objects —objects she finds or that are entrusted to her. From these, she creates an ingot, which she then transforms into wire, shaping it with her hands and pliers.

Each piece of jewelry is a movement, a momentum traced by a single line that forms a curve, spirals, can take a turn and returns to its starting point. An object sculpted to be observed as well as worn.

Because creating a beautiful object cannot come at the expense of people and the environment, using recycled metal as a raw material is a natural choice.
Each piece can also be made in solid gold on request.
